At Service for Christ Outreach Ministry (SCOM), our mission is rooted in reaching out to the most vulnerable disabled children and orphans with an open heart and a compassionate helping hand. Founded as a faith-based non-profit organization, we are dedicated to empowering children living with physical, intellectual, and developmental challenges—such as Autism and Down syndrome—who come from impoverished backgrounds and informal settlements. Through specialized education, comprehensive caregiving, therapeutic support, and essential daily nourishment, we strive to break down societal barriers, eliminate stigma, and provide a safe sanctuary where every child can experience love and realize their God-given potential.
We break down societal stigma and isolation by creating an inclusive, safe home environment where special needs children are treated with dignity, loved for who they are, and integrated into active community life.
Through dedicated occupational and physical therapies, well-balanced daily nutrition, and specialized caregiving, we work to enhance each child's mobility, immunity, and overall health.
We equip children with practical life skills and vocational training tailored to their unique capabilities, laying the foundation for self-reliance and future independence.
Anchored in Christian values and the teachings of Jesus Christ, we nurture each child’s spiritual well-being through faith, worship, and compassionate love.

We are anchored in providing a compassionate, Christ-centered care to vulnerable disabled children and orphans in our society. We foresee a transformed future across Kenya where children living with Autism, Down syndrome, physical impairments, and developmental challenges are no longer hidden away or marginalized, but fully embraced, protected, and loved. Driven by faith, we foresee a future where poverty and disability no longer define a child's destiny, and where every family in underserved rural areas and informal settlements receives the support, resources, and spiritual hope needed for their children to flourish into independent, fulfilled individuals.
